Cid Vicente

//Bio and Work History

Cid Alfred Vicente was born in Manila, Philippines on June 11, 1977.  ​

​

Graduated in 1999 with a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising at the prestigious University of Santo Tomas, the oldest university in Asia.

​

Cid was also the Circle (Lifestyle) editor of the critically acclaimed university paper The Varsitarian of University of Santo Tomas.        

​

 After finishing college, he moved to the California to help run their family business in North California. 

​

In 2002, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a lead graphic designer for Copy Central and later Copy To Go.  He also worked at home where his his wife put up a design studio.​

​

At the same time, he was working in the Crowne Plaza LAX as a Front Office Supervisor.

​

Cid was offered a promotion and a chance to open up a hotel in Las Vegas in 2009.  After successfully opening the hotel, Cid was promoted to Director of Operations after only one year. 

​

Last October of 2012 the Tournament of Barbers was successfully held at the Red Rock Resort and Casino.  Cid provided all the design for the marketing ad campaign, the show setup, and the entire Hairadise magazine that was launched at the show.
